Sego, an indie rock band from LA, California is close to their second album Sego Sucks. It will feature 10 tracks and so far already saw the release of the Shame, a jerky and energetic tune that got a lot of rock news outlet listening for more. The band's new single is called Neon Me Out and it provides somewhat of a different experience.
The upbeat but disharmonic tune has a bit of Beck and a bit of Cake in it, but also a pounding and appealing bass line. All of that leads to an engaging and climactic chorus that comes with some completely unexpected but very awesome vocals.
Sego are lined for SXSW 2019 in March and tunes like Neon Me Out point to a possibility of a hot festival summer for the band. Before that comes around, listen on Sego - Neon Me Out right here!
